We're a small but perfectly formed organisation, offering website design and development services to businesses across the globe. About

FOUND design is run by two key members:

Chris, Director
Chris originally hails from the UK, from the far reaches of South London. She set up FOUND design 5 years ago, to help small businesses and not-for-profit organisations, by building portfolio websites to promote their work. Since then, Chris has worked with a large range of clients, from marketing companies, to performance athletes, to environmental organisations.

Chris is passionate about usability, and making sites which are easy to use, and accessible to a wide audience. Having previously worked in the corporate, government and not-for-profit sectors, in the UK and Australia, she has a good insight into business interests and needs. Chris has a Masters in Computer Science, and is a member of the Melbourne Web Standards Group. When not working, she is a keen triathlete, and book lover.

Nathan, Developer
Nathan is a passionate developer, and web enthusiast, who likes to play with different technologies. Nathan has extensive experience as a developer, working for various multi-national organisations. He works in many programming languages, including java, php, .net, flash, ajax and javascript, amongst others.

Nathan is currently undertaking a Ph.D. in computer science. He is involved in several research and commercial projects, and is always on the look out for new technologies and new approaches in the IT industry. When not working (which is, admittedly, very rare) Nathan enjoys the odd game of badminton, and dinner with friends.

Approach

We have a tried and tested process, which begins with an initial meeting to work through your requirements. From there, we will produce a quote, and a suitable timeline. As a small organisation, we have very low overheads, and a quick turnaround time for all of our projects. We also have experience working in a wide variety of sectors, so will understand your business needs.

Technologies
We work with a number of programming languages, and will choose the technology most appropriate for each project. We often use an open source content management system, such as Joomla or Drupal, but have also custom built sites from scratch. Some of the technologies we regularly use are: xhtml, css, php, flash, ajax and javascript.
