Club Classics: Horse Meat Disco Every Sunday / South Central bar, 349 Kennington Lane, SE11 / 1pm to 1am / £3 b4 7pm and £4 after The capital's Horse Meat Disco is a new wave of rave.
It's as gay as a window, as musically open minded as John Peel and more
fun than trampolining. Horse Meat feels more like a party than a 'club',
albeit a club held in a South London dive. Resident DJ Severino plays
a psychedelic stew of rump shaking music from hard RnB through to classic
disco via House of Jealous Lovers, and it makes you remember what
got you into this lark in the first place; namely dancing like a mad thing
to music seemingly beamed from Mars. Check it out for a bite that's right! |
