response : lost property You may have come across this website in
search of something you have lost, thinking that we can help you find
your beloved possessions. I expect you have by now gathered that we are
not quite a lost property office... We can help you find unusual things to do in London, or answer the lost call of souls searching for a fun place to go out, but lost property isn't really our bag. However, at londonlostandfound, we do try to help our world weary readers, so we have compiled a list of places where you might be able to find your mislaid items... For things lost on trains, tubes or buses in London Hundreds of thousands of items of property are lost every year on the various modes of transport run by Transport for London. Some very strange items have passed through the Lost Property Office over the years including a briefcase containing £10,000, a park bench and a kitchen sink... How careless! The lost property offices are situated at 200 Baker Street, NW1, and are open between 9am and 2pm Mondays to Fridays. Otherwise you can fill in an online application form at http://www.transportforlondon.gov.uk/tfl/ph_lost.shtml. For lost dogs and cats Battersea Dogs Home aims to rescue, reunite, rehabilitate and re-home the lost and abandoned dogs and cats that come into their care. You can find them at 4 Battersea Park Road, SW8 or phone them on 020 7622 3626. For your valuables If you've lost something valuable, and you think it might have been stolen, contact your local police station. The number should be in the phone book and Yellow Pages. If you have a happy story about being reunited with your lost property we want to hear from you. Why not email your story to editor@londonlostandfound.com.
